Synopsis Alana Shannonson and her best friend Jackie Donner are two seventh graders at James Walk Middle School. They are both on the school newspaper. Alana writes an advice column. The two girls are able to solve problems for their friends and family (including adults) with good old fashioned common sense and sensibility.
